Beautification

The Beautification Committee is focused on improving the aesthetic character of our neighborhood. Current chairperson of the committee is:

Current projects we are involved in include:

• Restoring our canopy through our tree replanting program, offering reduced price native trees to our members
• Landscaping of the Southern Boulevard bridge to Palm Beach
• Participation in the Keep Palm Beach Beautiful program
• Annual cleanups of our beach and parks
• Monitoring of vegetation in FPL right-of- ways

Upcoming projects include:

• Keep Kids Alive, Drive 25

Completed projects:

• A low cost tree program resulting in the planting of more than 50 trees in the South End in an effort to restore canopy lost in the hurricanes, Fall 2006.
• Tree planting of 25 Gumbo Limbo trees at Phipps Park soccer field, September 24th, 2005
• Summa Beach cleanup. September 17th, 2005
